Courses - Training squads

Swimming is not only an important life skill that all children should have, but it is also one of the best ways to keep fit and healthy and consistent training also helps children acquire a number of important life skills. The weekly training sessions that Nautilus run at Latymer are not just designed for swimmers who may already be members of their school swim squads but are also great for swimmers with the hope for improving their skill levels and overall fitness.

Sessions are run on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons from 4:30 to 5:30pm at the Latymer Upper pool.

The sessions are aimed at children who have reached Level 6 and would like to explore the benefits of competitive swimming.

These training sessions will focus on a number of important aspects of swimmer development including:

  • Technical fundamentals for all four strokes
  • Building strength and stamina
